It's been too long since I published a book. I'm writing things but just not publishing yet. The publishing marketplace seems tough at the moment. So many books, how to get noticed? I've thought about trying to get an agent and going the traditional publishing route, but I hear it's not easy and takes a long time to get a definite word from them. If I do things myself, marketing is so important to success, and that's not one of my strong points. Those are my excuses for the delay in publishing anything.

I'm mostly finished with my "drone thriller" novel but still need to finish it off. A lot happens in the final pages. It's a thriller, after all.

I had intended to published a collection of short stories along the lines of "supernatural horror" but I've thought twice about publishing short stories as apparently they don't sell nearly as well as novels. Instead, I'm working some of them into novel manuscripts I'm writing. And that seems to be going well. I'm working some of them into a "supernatural horror thriller" involving the stars in the sky.

Hopefully I'll have something to announce soon. I'm still writing in cafes in the mornings. The coffee and atmosphere are good for inspiration. I've thought of so many ideas in cafes that I wonder if I would have at home.
